This is the third segment of a studio interview with former Vice-Chancellor and current Commissioner for Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Ekiti State, Professor Mobolaji Aluko after the End Bad Governance Protests across the country. In the first part, Aluko discusses the justification of the protests, demands of the protesters, concluding that Tinubu’s government is correcting decades of bad governance. The second part deals with the high cost of governance and Aluko suggests few ways out. In this third part, he disagrees with local government autonomy, a policy that appears dear to the federal government.
