In a significant political shift, a large number of APC members defected to the PDP today at Ikole Local Government PDP Secretariat, Ikole Ekiti.

The outgoing PDP Chairman in Ekiti State, Hon. Alaba Agboola, warmly welcomed the new members to the party. The defectors unanimously attributed their decision to join the PDP to the admirable leadership and goodwill of Prince Funso Ayeni, expressing their eagerness to follow him.

This massive decamping is seen as a major boost to the PDP’s strength in the LGA.
