The Executive Chairman of the Ekiti State Internal Revenue Service, Pastor Olaniran Olatona, has been on the saddle for two years. In those two years, he has achieved what no one else before him had done in the history of tax collection in the state, increasing internally generated revenue from N600 million monthly before his assumption to N1.6b . However, some business owners in the state are complaining bitterly about their inability to cope with various taxes charged by different bodies in the government and the high-handedness of tax officials. Olatona responds here to all concerns raised by the tax payers.
