The Local Government Staff in Ekiti State, under the platform “BAO Anchors,” have declared their unwavering support for the re-election bid of the incumbent Governor, Dr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for a second term.

At an event held in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday, Mr. Sesan Aina, Chieftain of BAO Anchors, pledged that local governments across the state would actively lead the campaign to ensure Governor Oyebanji continues in office.

“Our staff have long dreamt of transformative leadership, and Governor Oyebanji has turned these dreams into reality,” Aina stated.

The event was graced by key dignitaries, including the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Abibat Adubiaro, who was lauded as a “mother to all local government workers,” and High Chief Jide Awe, a progressive leader in the APC. The Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Chief Abejide, also received commendation for his role in fostering development within the local government sector.

Aina further applauded the steadfastness and dedication of local government staff, emphasizing their critical role in the governor’s success.Governor Oyebanji’s achievements in improving the welfare of local government employees were cited as key reasons for the endorsement. The BAO Anchors reiterated their commitment to securing his re-election, describing his leadership as visionary and transformative.
