The Local Government Staff in Ekiti State, under the banner of “BAO Anchors,” have pledged their full support for the re-election of the state’s incumbent governor, Dr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for a second term in office.

At a gathering held in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday, the Chieftain of BAO Anchors, Mr. Sesan Aina, assured that local governments across the state would champion the governor’s re-election campaign. He highlighted that the governor’s contributions have significantly improved the welfare of local government workers.

“Our staff have been waiting for impactful leadership, and Governor Oyebanji has turned our aspirations into tangible results,” Aina remarked.

The event saw the attendance of key dignitaries, including Dr. Abibat Adubiaro, the Secretary to the State Government, whom Aina described as a “mother to all local government workers,” and High Chief Jide Awe, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Chief Abejide, was also commended for his leadership and dedication to the progress of the local government service.

Aina further praised the resilience and commitment of local government employees, emphasizing their pivotal role in Governor Oyebanji’s administration. The BAO Anchors reiterated their readiness to mobilize support for the governor, whose leadership they described as transformative and visionary.

The endorsement underscores a collective determination to sustain the progress and development initiated during Governor Oyebanji’s first term.
