JUST IN: Court Grants Queen Naomi, Oriyomi Hamzat, and Fasasi Bail with Strict Conditions

The Oyo State High Court sitting at Ring Road has granted bail to Olori Naomi Silekunola, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, and Abdullahi Fasasi. The bail ruling was delivered on Monday by Justice K. B. Olawoyin, following an application submitted by the defense counsels. This comes after a hearing held on January 7, during which the lawyers for the accused made a case for their release on bail.The court set five conditions for their bail.
Firstly, each defendant is required to pay a bail sum of N10 million. Secondly, two sureties must provide documents for landed properties within the jurisdiction of the court. Additionally, the defendants are mandated to deposit their international passports with the court as part of the conditions. They are also prohibited from granting any media interviews during the pendency of the case.
This development has attracted significant public attention as the case progresses. Further updates and developments in the trial are expected in due course.
