MAPOLY Announces Indefinite Closure Amid Student Protest

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has been shut down indefinitely following protests by students over issues related to result verification.The protest was triggered by delays in verifying the National Diploma (ND) results of students who transferred from other institutions. These delays have reportedly hindered their academic progression.
In a statement, the Public Relations Officer, Yemi Ajibola, confirmed the closure and emphasized the institution’s commitment to safety. He stated that the move was necessary to protect lives and property amid rising tensions on campus.
Ajibola reiterated the school’s strict policy against fake results and advised students to remain off-campus until further notice. Parents and stakeholders were assured of timely updates as events unfold.
