Lawmaker Mudashiru Obasa, representing Agege Constituency I, has been re-elected as the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Obasa’s re-election on Monday followed the unexpected resignation of Mojisola Meranda, who stepped down as Speaker of the House.

His return to the leadership position was facilitated by the nomination of Noheem Adams, the former Majority Leader of the House and representative of Eti-Osa Constituency I.
