Bisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away in the United Kingdom.

A former aide to the late governor, who requested anonymity, confirmed the tragic news to Tribune Online on Thursday. According to the source, Bisola died after a brief illness, though further details about the cause of death have not yet been disclosed.

The family is expected to release an official statement regarding her passing soon.

Reacting to the news, Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) expressed his deep sorrow over Bisola’s sudden demise. In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, Senator Alli described her death as a painful loss to her family, Oyo State, and the nation.
