President Tinubu Nominates Bernard Mohammed Doro as New Minister

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Bernard Mohammed Doro from Plateau State for appointment as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The President’s letter of nomination was read on the floor of the Senate by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during Tuesday’s plenary session. According to reports, the nomination has been forwarded to the Senate Committee on Screening for confirmation in accordance with Section 147 of the 1999 Constitution.
While the specific portfolio of the nominee has not yet been disclosed, Doro is expected to fill one of the existing ministerial vacancies in the Federal Executive Council.
This nomination marks another strategic move by the Tinubu administration to strengthen governance and ensure broader representation across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones.
If confirmed, Bernard Doro will officially be sworn in as a minister following Senate approval.
