President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Friday for a working visit, shortly after attending the coronation ceremony of the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, in Oyo State.

According to the Presidency, Tinubu’s visit is part of his engagements ahead of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary. During his stay, the President is expected to meet with key private sector stakeholders, state officials, and community leaders to discuss economic reforms and infrastructural projects.

The visit will also feature the inauguration of the remodelled National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos, alongside other inspection tours of ongoing federal projects.

Security has been heightened across strategic locations in Lagos, with law enforcement agencies assuring residents of smooth movement despite expected traffic diversions.

This is Tinubu’s latest visit to Lagos since assuming office in May 2023, underscoring the state’s role as Nigeria’s commercial hub and a major driver of national development.
