President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has engaged billionaire industrialist Prince Arthur Eze, founder of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, in a high-level initiative aimed at commercialising research and fostering innovation across Nigeria.

The engagement, organised by the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, focused on strengthening partnerships between the government and private sector leaders. The objective is to translate research outcomes into practical industrial and commercial applications, supporting job creation, technological advancement, and economic growth.

According to sources, the collaboration aligns with the Tinubu administration’s broader agenda to bridge the gap between scientific research and industry, ensuring innovations have tangible benefits for the economy. Prince Arthur Eze reportedly expressed support for initiatives that promote indigenous technological development and capacity building.

Officials emphasized that such strategic collaborations are critical for positioning Nigeria as a competitive and innovation-driven economy, attracting investment while nurturing local talent in research and entrepreneurship.
