The recovered items include a variety of luxury SUVs, cars, motorcycles, and weapons such as pistols, shotguns, ammunition, and machetes. The Police also indicated that some vehicles had been stolen from trusted drivers or car-wash attendants, highlighting emerging trends in criminal activities.
CP Jimoh stressed that the operations are part of a broader crime-prevention strategy, particularly during the “ember months,” which historically see a rise in criminal activities. He urged residents to remain vigilant and continue collaborating with security agencies by reporting suspicious activities promptly.
