Yahaya Bello Declares Interest in Kogi Central Senate Seat Ahead of 2027 Elections

Former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has officially declared his intention to contest the Kogi Central Senatorial seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Bello made the announcement during a visit to the palace of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, where he met with traditional rulers, religious leaders, and other stakeholders from the district. During the visit, he emphasized his commitment to representing the people of Kogi Central effectively in the Senate.
This declaration positions Bello to challenge the incumbent Senator Natasha Akpoti‑Uduaghan, who currently holds the Kogi Central seat.
