The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the establishment of Nigeria House Davos ahead of the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) scheduled to hold in Davos, Switzerland, from January 19 to 23, 2026.
According to a statement from the Presidency, Nigeria House Davos will serve as the country’s official national hub during the global economic summit, providing a platform to showcase Nigeria’s economic reforms, investment opportunities, and cultural identity to global leaders, investors, and policymakers.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s presence at the World Economic Forum and attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) by facilitating high-level engagements, policy dialogues, and strategic partnerships. It will also highlight key sectors of the Nigerian economy, including energy, agriculture, technology, infrastructure, and the creative industry.
The Nigeria House project is being implemented through a public-private partnership (PPP) involving relevant federal ministries such as the Ministries of Industry, Trade and Investment; Finance; and Foreign Affairs, alongside selected private sector partners.
Officials say the establishment of Nigeria House Davos reflects the government’s commitment to economic diplomacy and repositioning Nigeria as a competitive destination for global investment.
The World Economic Forum is an annual gathering of world leaders, business executives, academics, and civil society actors focused on addressing global economic and development challenges.
