President Tinubu Vows to Bring Terrorists to Justice After Niger Attack

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the recent terror attack in Kasuwan Daji, Niger State, promising that those responsible will be brought to justice.
The attack, which occurred in Borgu Local Government Area, reportedly left several villagers dead and others abducted, including women and children.
Presidential Directives to Security Agencies
In a statement from the State House, President Tinubu directed the Minister of Defence, the Service Chiefs, the Nigeria Police Force, and the Department of State Services (DSS) to:
Immediately track down and apprehend the perpetrators
Rescue all abducted victims safely
Intensify operations around forests and vulnerable communities often used as hideouts by terrorists
He emphasized that the full weight of the law will be applied against the criminals and urged security agencies to act swiftly to prevent further attacks.
Condolences and National Unity
President Tinubu expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, urging Nigerians to remain united in the face of insecurity.
“Our nation must stand together against these senseless acts of violence.
The government is fully committed to protecting lives and ensuring justice for every victim,” he said.
Background
The Kasuwan Daji attack is one of several violent incidents in North Central Nigeria, where communities near forested areas are often targeted by criminal gangs and terrorist groups.
Security analysts have stressed the need for enhanced intelligence and rapid response operations to prevent future attacks.
