According to the official notice signed by the Secretary of the Body of Benchers, Daniel M. Tela, female aspirants are required to appear with only natural hair, and are expressly prohibited from wearing artificial nails, colored hair extensions, heavy makeup, or non-conservative hairstyles.
Male aspirants are similarly instructed to maintain a conservative appearance, including properly groomed hair, clean shaves, and dark suits that align with the traditional Bar dress code.
Key Guidelines for the Ceremony
The directive outlines several rules meant to preserve the dignity and tradition of the legal profession:
Female aspirants must wear white blouses, black skirts covering the knee, natural hair, and minimal makeup. Artificial eyelashes and flashy accessories are prohibited.
Male aspirants are required to dress in dark suits, white shirts, black ties, and properly polished shoes.
All aspirants must adhere strictly to time slots for accreditation, entrance protocol, and seating arrangements.
Guests must be pre-registered, and invitation cards must be collected ahead of the ceremony.
