IBEDC states reason for power outage in Ibadan.

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has announced a planned power outage affecting several areas of Ibadan this week.
The company said the outages are necessary due to road construction activities, which require temporary disconnection of electricity feeders along key roads, including Foodco Road and Idi Isin.
Affected communities are expected to experience power interruptions for approximately three hours per day between Monday and Friday. IBEDC urged residents and businesses to plan accordingly and stay safe during the outage.
Customers have been advised to report emergencies and check IBEDC’s official channels for updates on affected areas and restoration timelines.
This scheduled outage is part of IBEDC’s ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade electricity infrastructure to ensure safer and more reliable power supply in Ibadan.
