‘You Are Very Irresponsible’ — Fayose Blasts Obasanjo Again

Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has once again launched a scathing attack on former President Olusegun Obasanjo, describing him as “very irresponsible” in a strongly worded message that has gone viral.
The fresh outburst followed Obasanjo’s remarks at Fayose’s 65th birthday celebration, where the former president allegedly made comments that Fayose considered offensive and belittling. In response, Fayose reportedly sent an SMS accusing Obasanjo of being mentally unstable and making reckless statements.
According to multiple media reports, the former governor did not hold back, saying Obasanjo had “lost every sense of decorum” and was operating in a “heightened level of dementia.” He also demanded the return of money the former president allegedly acknowledged receiving from him in the past.
Obasanjo was said to have replied through his media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, stating that the money had been returned “unopened” and dismissing Fayose’s attacks as unnecessary.
The latest exchange has reignited long-standing tensions between the two political figures, who have been at odds for years over political disagreements and personal grievances.
