Traditional Rulers, Vice-Chancellors, and Scholars Honour Prof. Toyin Falola in Ibadan

Scholars, vice-chancellors, traditional rulers, and dignitaries gathered in Ibadan to celebrate the legacy of Professor Toyin Falola, the eminent historian, on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.

The event, held at Lead City University, brought together a wide array of academics and cultural leaders to honour Prof. Falola’s immense contributions to historical scholarship in Nigeria and beyond.

Speaking at the event, several vice-chancellors and scholars recounted how Prof. Falola has mentored generations of students and scholars, describing his guidance as rooted in both discipline and inspiration.
