Building a Digitally Ready Nigeria: CrediCorp Launches National Digital Device Credit Program
In a move aimed at boosting digital inclusion, CrediCorp has officially launched its National Digital Device Credit Program, designed to make smartphones, laptops, and other essential digital tools more accessible to Nigerians.
The initiative targets over 15,000 Nigerians, providing affordable credit options to help citizens acquire devices that are critical for work, education, and productivity. This program follows a successful pilot phase where more than 1,000 participants gained access to smartphones through CrediCorp’s innovative credit solutions.
To ensure smooth and secure access, CrediCorp is collaborating with Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs), E-Finance Companies, and leveraging Credlock technology for device collateral management. This partnership safeguards both the lender and borrower while streamlining the credit process.
According to CrediCorp’s Managing Director, the program is part of a broader effort to build “a digitally ready Nigeria”, empowering citizens to thrive in an increasingly digital economy.
With this program, Nigerians across the country now have a practical pathway to own digital devices without the burden of high upfront costs, further driving national productivity and digital literacy.
For more information, interested applicants can visit CrediCorp’s official website or reach out to participating financial institutions across the country.
