Sunday Igboho Cleared from Wanted List After intervention of Yoruba traditional rulers – Spokesperson

Prominent Yoruba Nation activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has been removed from Nigeria’s wanted list following the intervention of key Yoruba monarchs.
Igboho’s spokesman, Olayomi Koiki, confirmed that all arrangements have been concluded for his return to Nigeria, and he could come home at any moment. The intervention involved traditional rulers, including the Ooni of Ife, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, and the Olugbon of Orile Igbon, among others.
This development comes after years of Igboho living in exile due to security challenges and government sanctions. Reports indicate that Igboho is expected to visit the palace of the Olubadan of Ibadanland shortly after his return.
The removal of his name from the wanted list has been welcomed by supporters and political analysts as a significant step toward reconciliation and national dialogue on regional and ethnic issues in Nigeria.
