Two Serving Police Officers Arrested for Armed Robbery in Benue State

Two serving police officers have been arrested for their alleged involvement in armed robbery, the Benue State Police Command confirmed.
The officers were intercepted after attempting to evade a checkpoint while driving a suspected stolen vehicle.
Upon arrest, authorities recovered an AK‑47 rifle, magazines loaded with live ammunition, a face mask, and mobile phones linked to the crime.
The suspects, whose identities have been disclosed by the police, are currently in custody as investigations continue to determine the full scope of their involvement in the criminal activities.
The police have assured the public that they remain committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring that officers who break the law are held accountable.
