Investigations into the alleged coup plot against President Bola Tinubu’s administration have revealed that the suspects allegedly purchased 32 vehicles, including Gulf cars and SUVs, to facilitate covert operations linked to the plan.

According to security sources, military investigators recovered transaction records and receipts showing that the vehicles were bought to allow operatives to move discreetly and access strategic locations without raising suspicion.

The cars were reportedly intended to blend into public traffic, enabling covert reconnaissance and coordination across key areas, including airports and other sensitive sites.

Authorities are continuing investigations into the suspected plotters, some of whom are still evading arrest.
