Osun NURTW Declares “Operation Win Your Polling Unit” for Oyebamiji

The Osun State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has officially endorsed Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the August 2026 governorship election.
In a statement during a visit to Oyebamiji following his emergence as the APC flagbearer, the Acting Chairman of Osun NURTW announced the launch of “Operation Win Your Polling Unit”, a mobilisation strategy aimed at securing victory for the APC candidate in every polling unit across the state.
The chairman urged all members of the union to return to their local areas and work diligently to ensure that Oyebamiji gains widespread support ahead of the election.
This move is part of the growing political activity in Osun State as various groups and stakeholders position themselves ahead of the 2026 elections.
Analysts note that endorsements from influential groups like NURTW could play a significant role in mobilising grassroots support for candidates.
Oyebamiji thanked the NURTW leadership for their support and pledged to work with all stakeholders to promote development and progress in Osun State.
