Former Inspector-General of Police, Mike Okiro, has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term, praising the president’s policies and leadership since assuming office.

Okiro stated that Tinubu’s decisions across various sectors are beginning to yield positive results, noting that Nigeria is on a path to improvement. He emphasized that with continued leadership, the country would be significantly better by the end of Tinubu’s tenure.

The former IGP highlighted Tinubu’s record as former governor of Lagos State as evidence of his capacity to drive development and implement effective policies. He also described Tinubu’s administration as courageous and reform-driven, citing critical decisions such as the fuel subsidy removal and other economic measures as examples of leadership that is starting to produce tangible benefits.

Okiro made these remarks during an interview while inaugurating a support group for Tinubu’s reelection, calling on Nigerians to recognize the president’s achievements and potential for further national development.
