The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested popular Lagos socialite Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, better known as Pretty Mike, along with more than 100 other individuals during a midnight raid at Proxy Nightclub, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The operation, which took place in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, was part of an intensified NDLEA clampdown on alleged drug-related parties across major Nigerian cities.

According to official NDLEA sources, operatives stormed the nightclub — located on 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island — around 3 a.m., after credible intelligence suggested the venue was hosting a drug-influenced event.
“We recovered various illicit substances, including ‘Loud’ (a potent strain of cannabis) and nitrous oxide (laughing gas), used by some attendees,” an NDLEA official confirmed.
“Those arrested are currently being profiled, and anyone found culpable will face prosecution in accordance with Nigerian law.”

Among those detained was ex-Big Brother Naija housemate Tuoyo Ideh, who was reportedly at the event when operatives entered.

Videos circulating on social media show NDLEA operatives escorting several clubgoers into waiting buses. Eyewitnesses reported that the raid lasted over two hours, with the club sealed afterward for further investigation.
