A recent report has ranked the late Nigerian banker, Herbert Wigwe, among the top foreign property owners in London, placing him seventh on the list based on the number of properties linked to him.
According to the report, Wigwe was associated with approximately 106 properties in the UK capital, making him one of the most prominent international investors in London’s real estate market.
The findings are based on an extensive investigation into properties held through offshore entities, following increased transparency requirements in the United Kingdom aimed at uncovering the true owners of high-value real estate.
The report analyzed tens of thousands of properties owned by foreign individuals and entities, highlighting the scale of international investment in London’s property sector.
While the ranking reflects the volume of properties connected to Wigwe, it does not indicate overall wealth or net worth, but rather the extent of his real estate holdings in the city.
