By Erewunmi Peace

A business consultant has alleged that she was abducted and threatened following a dispute over a reported $119 million fund recovery linked to the Ebonyi State Government.

According to a report published by Sahara Reporters, Dr. Jackie Ikeotuonye, Chief Executive Officer of Andrew Bishopton Ltd., claimed she faced threats in connection with consultancy services allegedly rendered to Ebonyi State.

The consultant alleged that during the dispute, former Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, made a threatening remark. She further claimed that the disagreement stemmed from payment issues related to the recovery of funds reportedly owed to the state.

As of the time of this report, there has been no official confirmation from law enforcement authorities regarding the alleged abduction.

Additionally, no public statement has been issued by the former governor addressing the specific claims.

The allegations remain unverified, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available.
