NGF Condemns Suicide Bombing Attack in Borno, Calls It “Shocking and Despicable”

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum has strongly condemned the recent suicide bombing attack that occurred in Maiduguri, Borno State, describing the incident as “shocking and despicable.”

The tragic attack reportedly took place in the city of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, where suspected suicide bombers targeted crowded areas, leaving several people dead and many others injured.
According to reports, the explosions occurred in busy public locations, causing panic among residents and emergency responders. Security agencies quickly moved to the scene to assist victims and restore order.

NGF Reacts to the Attack
In a statement released after the incident, the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, condemned the attack and described it as a senseless act of violence against innocent citizens.

He expressed the forum’s condolences to the government and people of Borno State, particularly families who lost loved ones in the attack.
The forum also urged security agencies to intensify efforts in combating terrorism and ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice.
