NDLEA Arrests China-Based Businessman, Two Angolans; 236 Cocaine Pellets Recovered at Abuja and Kano Airports

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a China-based Nigerian businessman alongside two Angolan nationals after recovering 236 cocaine pellets at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano.
The suspect, Ibeanu Vincent Chukwudulue, 34, a businessman based in China, and the two Angolan nationals, Mbandu Martins Makiadi and Ngoma Wilson Fernando, were apprehended following intelligence-led operations at the airports.
NDLEA officials revealed that body scans indicated the suspects had ingested narcotics, and under medical observation, they excreted a total of 236 cocaine wraps.
The agency confirmed that the recovered substances are scheduled for further forensic analysis to determine their exact composition and weight.
The NDLEA continues to strengthen its operations against drug trafficking, emphasizing its commitment to curbing illegal drug importation and safeguarding Nigeria’s borders.
