A tense confrontation occurred between former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the marking of a property in Abuja.

Sources indicate that the EFCC was acting on a court directive related to an ongoing investigation involving alleged financial misconduct and asset recovery.

However, Malami reportedly disputed the validity and scope of the order, insisting that due legal process must be followed before any enforcement action is carried out.
