Ooni of Ife Appointed Chancellor of Kashim Ibrahim University

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has been appointed as the Chancellor of Kashim Ibrahim University, Maiduguri, Borno State.
The appointment was made by the Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, and was formally communicated to the monarch through an official letter delivered to his palace in Ile-Ife.
The letter was presented by the Secretary to the Borno State Government, Malam Bukar Tijani, who represented the governor during the visit.
Governor Zulum described the appointment as part of efforts to strengthen the university’s leadership and promote unity, peace, and educational development across the country.
Oba Ogunwusi, while receiving the appointment, expressed appreciation to the Borno State Government and pledged his commitment to supporting the growth and advancement of the institution.
Kashim Ibrahim University is a state-owned tertiary institution located in Maiduguri, Borno State.
