An aspirant for the Sabon Gari/Zaria Federal Constituency seat in Kaduna State, Mohammed Sadis Buba, has successfully completed the screening exercise conducted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of its upcoming primary elections.

The screening, which is part of the party’s selection process for aspirants vying for the House of Representatives, was held in line with the APC’s guidelines for the 2027 election cycle.

Speaking after the exercise, Buba expressed confidence in the process and stated that his decision to contest was driven by calls from his community to serve.

He also noted that his political ambition was known to relevant stakeholders, including the Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani.

According to him, his aspiration is rooted in a desire to represent and address the needs of his constituents if given the opportunity.

The APC screening exercise continues for various aspirants across Kaduna State and other parts of the country as the party prepares for its primaries.

Party officials have maintained that the screening process is aimed at ensuring credible candidates emerge to represent the party in the forthcoming elections.
