NAF Airstrikes Hit Sambisa Targets, Kill Several Terrorists

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has carried out successful airstrikes targeting terrorist hideouts in the Sambisa Forest area of Borno State, killing several insurgents.
The operation was conducted under Operation Hadin Kai, a military campaign focused on restoring peace and security in Nigeria’s North-East region.
According to military sources, the airstrikes were launched following credible intelligence and surveillance reports that identified terrorist activities and hideouts in the Yuwe axis of Sambisa Forest.
The strikes reportedly destroyed key terrorist structures and logistics bases used by insurgents, significantly disrupting their operations in the area.
The Air Force confirmed that several terrorists were neutralised during the operation, although the exact number of casualties was not disclosed.
Military authorities stated that the operation reflects ongoing efforts to degrade terrorist capabilities and ensure the safety of communities affected by insurgency.
The Nigerian military has continued intensified air and ground operations across the North-East in recent months as part of broader counter-terrorism efforts.
