The Nigeria Customs Service has intercepted several luxury vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini models, allegedly stolen and smuggled into Nigeria from Canada.

According to Customs authorities, the vehicles were recovered during an operation at a port in Lagos following intelligence sharing with international partners.

Officials stated that the seizure followed coordinated efforts between Nigerian Customs and Canadian law enforcement agencies, which helped track the movement of the stolen vehicles into the country.

The intercepted vehicles are believed to have been stolen in Canada before being shipped to Nigeria through international shipping routes.

Customs officials said the operation reflects ongoing efforts to curb vehicle smuggling and transnational crime involving high-value assets.

The service noted that the recovered vehicles will be subjected to further investigation and necessary legal procedures in collaboration with relevant international authorities.
