El-Rufai Returns to Court After Mother’s Burial for Bail Hearing

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has returned to court following the burial of his mother.
El-Rufai appeared at the Kaduna State High Court on Tuesday and is expected to proceed to the Federal High Court for the continuation of his bail hearing.
The former governor had earlier been granted temporary release on compassionate grounds to attend his mother’s funeral. His return to court marks the continuation of legal proceedings in a case involving allegations of fraud, abuse of office, and money laundering.
El-Rufai has denied all allegations brought against him.
The court is expected to hear his bail application as proceedings continue, with further updates anticipated.
