Brigadier General Braimah, Other Soldiers Killed by Terrorists Buried in Borno State

The Nigerian Army has conducted a military burial ceremony for Brigadier General Oseni Omoh Braimah and other soldiers who lost their lives in a recent terrorist attack in Borno State.
The senior officer and several troops were killed during an ambush carried out by suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters in the Benisheikh area of the state. The attack is part of ongoing insurgent activity in Nigeria’s North-East region.
Following the incident, the fallen soldiers were laid to rest in a solemn ceremony in Maiduguri, Borno State, with full military honours. Senior military officials, colleagues, and government representatives were present at the burial to pay their last respects.
The Nigerian Army has continued operations in the region as part of efforts to counter terrorism and restore security in affected communities.
The loss of a serving Brigadier General in active combat highlights the continuing challenges faced by the military in the fight against insurgency in the North-East.
