A new report has highlighted a select group of individuals said to have direct access to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu without the need for prior appointments, reflecting the close circle of family members, senior aides and trusted associates who regularly interact with the President.

According to the report, most visitors to the President are required to schedule meetings through the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Principal Secretary, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, or other key officials in the Presidency. However, it noted that a small number of influential personalities are able to contact or meet the President directly because of their official responsibilities or longstanding personal relationships.

Among those listed are the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, members of the President’s immediate family, top presidential aides and a number of long-time political allies who have worked closely with him over the years. The report describes them as part of the President’s inner circle, playing various advisory and administrative roles.

The publication also noted that access to the President is generally tightly controlled due to the demands of his office, with official protocols requiring most government officials, politicians and members of the public to obtain clearance before meetings can be scheduled.

The report has generated discussions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing interest in how access to the Presidency is managed and the influence of trusted aides and associates in the day-to-day operations of government.
