Shettima@60: ‘You are Trusted Ally, Patriot’ says Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, describing him as a trusted ally, patriot and valued partner in governance.
In a birthday message issued on Tuesday, President Tinubu praised Shettima’s years of public service and his commitment to Nigeria’s progress.
The President described the Vice President as more than a political ally, noting that his life has been defined by service, commitment and sacrifice for worthy causes.
Tinubu also commended Shettima’s loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), his support for the administration and his dedication to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He praised the Vice President for his contributions to governance, including his leadership role in the National Economic Council and efforts to strengthen collaboration between the Federal Government and the states.
According to the President, Shettima’s loyalty, wisdom and sense of duty have remained invaluable to the administration.
Tinubu expressed confidence that their partnership would continue to contribute to Nigeria’s development and the delivery of the administration’s promises to Nigerians.
He wished the Vice President good health, wisdom and many more years of purposeful service to the country.
Shettima, who turns 60 on September 2, has previously served as Governor of Borno State and as a senator before becoming Vice President of Nigeria in 2023.
