NSCDC Lagos Honours Officer Over Baby Factory Bust, Praises Operational Excellence

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Lagos State Command has honoured one of its officers for outstanding performance following the successful bust of an illegal baby factory in the Badagry area of the state.

The State Commandant, Adedotun Keshinro, commended the officer and his team for their professionalism, diligence, and commitment to duty, describing the operation as a clear example of intelligence-driven policing.

The officer, identified as CSC Gbenga Ekunola, was specifically recognised for his role in the operation, which led to the rescue of victims and the arrest of suspects involved in the illegal activity.

According to the command, the operation highlights the agency’s continued efforts to combat human trafficking and other criminal acts across Lagos State. The commandant emphasized that such recognition is aimed at encouraging officers to maintain high standards in service delivery and uphold the integrity of the corps.

The NSCDC further reassured residents of its commitment to protecting lives and property, urging members of the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities within their communities.
