President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in two new ministers into the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The new ministers are Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, who will serve as Minister of Power, and Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, who assumes office as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

The brief ceremony took place at the State House and was attended by senior government officials and aides of the President.

According to reports, the two appointees had earlier been confirmed by the Senate following their nomination by the President.

Their appointment is part of ongoing adjustments within the Federal Executive Council aimed at strengthening governance and improving service delivery in key sectors.

The Minister of Power is expected to focus on reforms in the electricity sector, including improving power supply and infrastructure development.

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs is expected to support Nigeria’s diplomatic engagements and international relations.

The swearing-in follows recent cabinet changes involving ministerial resignations and reshuffling within the administration.

As of the time of filing this report, the new ministers are expected to assume full duties immediately.
