APC Dismisses Reports on Nomination Form Prices

By Erewunmi Peace

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports circulating on social media regarding the prices of its nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.

In a statement, the party described the widely shared figures as false and misleading, noting that no official decision has been made on the cost of nomination forms.

The reports had claimed that the APC fixed nomination forms at ₦200 million for presidential aspirants, ₦150 million for governorship candidates, and ₦20 million for state assembly positions. However, the party clarified that such information did not originate from its leadership.

APC officials urged the public and party members to disregard the claims, emphasizing that any official announcement regarding nomination forms would be communicated through proper channels.

The party also reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and due process, stating that decisions concerning the 2027 elections would be made at the appropriate time.

The development comes amid growing political activities ahead of the next general elections, with parties beginning early preparations across the country.
