President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has hosted traditional and religious leaders from across Nigeria at the State House in Abuja, in a high-level meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration between government and community leadership structures.

The meeting brought together prominent monarchs, emirs, obas, clerics, and other respected community figures to discuss national development priorities, particularly reforms in the health sector and broader social welfare initiatives.

Focus on National Development and Health Reform

During the engagement, President Tinubu emphasized the critical role traditional and religious institutions play in influencing grassroots communities. He called for their support in promoting national unity, public health awareness, and government reform programmes.

According to statements from the presidency, discussions centered on improving healthcare delivery, strengthening community-based interventions, and increasing trust between citizens and public institutions.
