Fire Razes Part of Federal Secretariat in Abuja

A fire outbreak has affected part of the Federal Secretariat complex in Abuja, causing panic among workers and visitors in the area.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday morning, with flames seen coming from a section of the building that houses the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
Emergency responders, including officials of the Federal Fire Service, quickly arrived at the scene to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to other parts of the complex.
Witnesses said workers in the building were forced to evacuate immediately as smoke filled parts of the facility. The incident also caused traffic congestion around the area as security officials restricted movement near the affected building.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire has not been officially confirmed. Authorities are expected to conduct an investigation to determine what led to the outbreak.
The Federal Secretariat is one of the major government administrative complexes in Nigeria’s capital city, housing several ministries and government offices.
