By Erewunmi Peace
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced a strategic redeployment of its senior officers, including the appointment of Olusegun Ogungbemide as Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) in charge of Operations at the FRSC National Headquarters in Abuja.
The redeployment, approved by Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening road safety management across the country.
Ogungbemide, formerly the Corps Public Education Officer and a former Sector Commander in Lagos State, will now oversee the FRSC’s operations, ensuring better coordination and enforcement of road safety measures.
In addition to Ogungbemide’s appointment, the reshuffle includes other senior postings, such as Felicia Kalu, who has been elevated to Acting Corps Public Education Officer, along with the transfer and reassignment of several Corps Commanders nationwide.
The FRSC stated that these changes are part of a broader effort to boost service delivery, streamline operations, and ensure safer roads for all Nigerians.
