President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially sworn in Taiwo Oyedele as the new Minister of State for Finance, praising his extensive experience and dedication to national development.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja following Oyedele’s confirmation by the Senate. During the event, President Tinubu highlighted Oyedele’s strong background in fiscal policy and described him as a committed professional capable of contributing significantly to Nigeria’s economic transformation.

Oyedele, a respected tax expert, previously served as chairman of the Presidential Committee on Tax Reforms. With over 20 years of experience in financial advisory and policy development, including work with global consulting firm PwC, he is expected to bring valuable insight into the country’s financial sector.

In his new role, Oyedele will support the Ministry of Finance in driving economic reforms, improving revenue generation, and strengthening fiscal policies. His appointment is seen as part of the administration’s broader strategy to enhance economic stability and growth.

Analysts believe his expertise could play a crucial role in addressing Nigeria’s tax challenges and boosting investor confidence.
