ADC Has Nothing To Offer Nigerians – V.P. Shettima

Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has criticised the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stating that the party lacks the capacity to deliver meaningful leadership to Nigerians.
Shettima made the statement while addressing supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at a political gathering, where he urged citizens not to support the opposition party.
According to him, the ADC does not have the structure or competence required to effectively govern the country, describing it as lacking substance.
The remarks come amid increasing political activities and alignments ahead of the 2027 general elections, as parties intensify efforts to gain public support.
Political analysts note that such statements are common in Nigeria’s political landscape, where parties often criticise one another while positioning themselves for future elections. However, opposition parties, including the ADC, are expected to respond to the Vice President’s comments.
