The child of the former Military Governor of the old Western Region and first civilian governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, is certainly one of the pillars behind the administration of the incumbent Ekiti State governor and candidate of APC in the 20th June 2026 governorship election, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.  Adebayo adopted former governor, Ayo Fayose’s position, that the return of BAO in June 2026 is Ekiti agenda.
