The Kebbi State Government has highlighted the expected economic and developmental benefits of the ongoing Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway project, while commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for advancing the initiative.

State officials described the project as a major infrastructure development expected to improve transportation, boost trade, and enhance economic activities across several regions of the country.

According to the government, the highway will provide easier movement of agricultural produce from northern states to southern markets, reduce travel time, and strengthen commercial links between communities.

Officials also noted that the project could create employment opportunities, attract investment, and improve access to rural and urban areas along the corridor.

The remarks were made during an inspection of parts of the highway project in Kebbi State, where government representatives expressed optimism about its long-term impact on national development.

The Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway is part of the Federal Government’s broader infrastructure agenda aimed at improving connectivity and supporting economic growth.

While praising the Tinubu administration for pushing forward with the project, officials described the road initiative as a strategic investment capable of transforming transportation and trade across multiple states.

Construction activities are ongoing, with further updates expected as work progresses on different sections of the highway.
